Update: This temporary sale has ended, thanks to all who recommended SwiftKey to their friends and family.

Thanks to you, our dedicated fans, SwiftKey’s keyboard for smartphones has now rocketed past 150,000 five-star reviews on Google Play and we’re holding a 50% off sale to celebrate so you can spread the word with your friends, family and co-workers.

We’re happy to say that 77% of reviewers have awarded SwiftKey the full five stars, and 93% have given it four stars or above. While we believe there’s always room for improvement, we think this is pretty good going and an important milestone to celebrate together!

We keep an especially close eye on our user reviews as these ratings let us know the real impact SwiftKey is having on the ground, in the hands of our users. SwiftKey was dreamt up and created for the benefit of real people, to radically improve the typing experience on smartphones and tablets – this is why your feedback continues to be essential to our journey.

We reckon our fans are five-star quality too (our 100,000 strong VIP community is testament to that). To say thank you for all of your feedback and support along the way, we’re having a 50% off sale so you can easily share SwiftKey with those yet to hear about it, to make their world a little smarter.

To see what all the fuss is about, download SwiftKey for your phone here, and for your tablet here.

Whether you’re a SwiftKey newbie or veteran, you can rate the app and have your say here.

Many thanks,

The SwiftKey Team

Tk JuggaloStylez – June 18, 2013 – Version

Ben Veater – June 19, 2013 – Samsung Galaxy S2 with version

4) “Amazing Alternative - Totally customizable and so many options, themes are great and it only gets better with every update. IF YOU DON’T HAVE SWIFTKEY, YOUR LIFE IS HARDER THAN MINE :-)”

A Google User – March 30, 2013 – Version

5) “So convenient - It’s like I can just mash the keyboard and I can get the words I was hoping for.”

  • Sourav Kundu

One of the greatest apps of all time. All my friends and family with an Android phone and a credit card has it installed.

I hate the fact that I can’t buy it. It eats me inside out. :(

But nonetheless, my 5 star rating is out there! :D
Hope to see SwiftKey becoming the industry standard for smartphone keyboards.

    • Charlie Edmunds

Hi Sourav – if you don’t have a credit card you might be able to buy SwiftKey from AndroidPIT, which accepts PayPal. http://www.androidpit.com/en/android/market/apps/app/com.touchtype.swiftkey/SwiftKey-Keyboard

      • Sourav Kundu

Hi Charlie, thanks for the info. Appreciate it.

But I don’t think that’s going to work because as far as I’ve tried, I van accept payments using my verified PayPal account, but can’t send payments unless I have a credit card linked. I’ll give it a try anyway.

Worst case scenario, I’ll ask one of my friends to fill in some cash for me in AndroidPit.

        Again, thanks for your help!

  • David Ortiz

Hi, just a question, until when is going to be available through this offer at 50%? Nice job guys

  • Carol Bream

I really like SwiftKey, but it used to show my name in the predictive text at the end of an email but it no longer does this. Sad.

  • Mohammed Bin Abdulah

I found the price 2.3$ but It should be 1.99$, why?

    • Charlie Edmunds

Hi Mohammed – in some countries Google Play allows us to set the price manually, in other countries Google Play automatically translates from our “home currency”. Our home currency is GBP, so it translates £1.49 into $2.30

  • Erik

SwiftKey is made for lazy people who ‘ve got no
time to waste typing… Good, I like it!

  • Dave Skerrett

Hope your sale starts again soon, will buy as soon as its on sale again

  • Michelle Blake

Brilliant keyboard, wouldn’t even look at another. Try it, you’ll love it!

  • Michelle Blake

Just one question? I’m about to purchase a Nokia Lumia that runs on Windows. Will I still be able to buy Swift Key for it? I’ll be gutted if can’t :( If not, are you intending to expand? Pleeease…xx
